Toilets

There are public toilets located next to the Red Lion Pub on the high street and also behind the Great Barn in the courtyard. Please note: baby changing and disabled facilities are only available in the Great barn toilets. 

Car Parks

There is a public car park on the A4361 Beckhampton Road 

There is disabled parking within the village. Please note: drivers without a disabled persons permit should not park in this car park as it is used by the residents and employees of the village. 

Community shop

The Avebury village community shop is run by volunteers from the village to provide you with the little life necessities from milk and bread to needle and thread. St.James Church

Built in around 1000 AD this beautiful village church is still use by the villagers today and is open to the public when there are no services taking place. From the outside it may look like a normal village Church, but inside you will find original architecture from both the original Saxon build to the updated Norman additions.
